What is Reiki healing?

Reiki is a non-invasive complementary healing technique which involves channeling universal energy into the pet to activate their natural healing process, restoring physical and emotional wellbeing. Reiki is delivered hands on or hands off (depending on the preferences of the animal). Reiki promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, improving the flow and balance of ones energy to support healing. With the body being in a relaxed state, it encourages an environment for the body and mind to self-heal.

Why Reiki for pets?

Animals are so in tune with energy and incredibly sensitive to it. When any one of the chakras is out of balance (overactive or underactive) it can manifest as physical ailments or behavioural issues of some kind. Reiki energy is channeled into the pet and goes exactly where it is needed to restore balance.

Helps to promote healing after surgery, injury or trauma.
Helps to relieve general aches, pains and strains, and digestion.
Helps to alleviate stress, anxiety or nervousness due to past traumas or changes in their environments, like moving houses, a boarding stay or a new addition to the family.
